A Little About Me….

Firstly and most importantly: Thank you for visiting my blog!

Me? I am a 20-something girl with far too many opinions for such a small head to contain. I am a freelance Writer and Social Media Executive (‘Guru’ sounds cooler I think, though it does comes across as a little pretentious). I fly where the wind takes me and my bank balance permits me, and write about, well, pretty much anything.

So here I am, sharing my thoughts with you lovely people. Sending them out through the door in my mind, hopefully freeing up some space in there along the way…

Some Things To Know About Me:

  1. I’m allergic to tomatoes, but only fresh ones, as am an avid ketchup fan…
  2. I was once on SM:TV Live and interviewed Westlife when I was 14. Fantastic and embarrassing in equal measures…(there is photographic evidence of this should it be required!)
  3. I am a bit of a Disney fan. Please don’t tell me Walt was a Nazi, it will not effect my view on how fabulous ‘Aladdin’ is. Until cut scenes appear with Abu branding a Swastika I won’t hear any of it.
  4. I am an amateur singer and can be found on ‘Audio Boo’ and various local Karaoke nights around town…
  5. I am a bit of an American Football Fan, New York Giants are my team of choice!
  6. I am fairly creative, i love (attempting) drawing and designing clothes, making cards, photography and dance.
  7. I am notoriously stubborn. Even when i’m wrong…. which is only so very rarely…
  8. My favourite films (in no particular order) are “Breakfast at Tiffanys”, “The Rock”, “Aladdin”, “Singin’ in the Rain”, “Shawshank Redemption”, “Mean Girls” and “Anastasia”.
  9. I am always up for an adventure and learning something new.. UNLESS it involves spiders or needles, or bugs.Definitely no bugs. Otherwise anything at all really…
  10. I am about to undertake my biggest adventure yet, and climb Kilimanjaro in 2012 for the Institute of Cancer Research (visit my JustGiving Page for details).

  1. Hi Sarah,

I suffer with depression and had the same problem with cold after cold last winter – my GP simply attirbuted it to frequent visits to his surgery where there were loads of patients with coughs and colds! I had been out and about for work, but do not commute and mainly work at home like yourself so there seems toi be no rational explanation. This winter seems to have been colder than last, so it siaas much a mystery to me as it is to use. Once the weather gets warmer, it surely will one day soon!, hopefully you’ll get better. Take care!,

    Regards,

    Malcolm
